Fourtech | Temperature Controller Manual Free [updated]

Modern Fourtech-branded controllers typically include several "deep" features designed for high-precision industrial processes:

Connect the SSR (Solid State Relay) or Relay Output to your heater/cooler device. Caution: Always turn off power before wiring. 4. Programming and Parameter Settings

For a 3-wire Pt100, connect the two identical color wires (usually white) to the compensating terminals and the unique wire (usually red) to the main input terminal. Load Connections

: Some digital models allow for a factory setting reset if parameter logic becomes stuck. Troubleshooting Common Temperature Controller Problems

Press to cycle through parameters within a menu. Arrow Keys (Up/Down): Press to increase or decrease values. fourtech temperature controller manual free

Press and hold the key until the menu loads, then cycle through the parameters until you find the parameter labeled At (Auto-Tuning). Change the At value from 0 (Off) to 1 (On).

Press to confirm. The "AT" indicator light on the panel will begin blinking.

Ensure the sensor (thermocouple or probe) is connected correctly (usually Terminals 1-2) and power is supplied (Terminals 7-8). Power On: The display will show the current temperature ( PVcap P cap V - Process Value). Setting the Target Temperature (SetPoint) Press the SET or SET/SET key once. The display will flash the setpoint value ( SVcap S cap V - Set Value). Use the Up/Down arrow keys to change the value. Press SET again to save. Accessing Parameter Settings (Advanced Setup) Hold the SET key for 3-5 seconds. Use the arrows to navigate through the parameters (e.g., AL1cap A cap L 1 Press SET to change the value, and hold SET again to exit. 4. Common FourTech Programming Parameters

Once the AT light stops blinking, the tuning process is complete. The optimized settings are automatically saved. 5. Troubleshooting Common Error Codes Programming and Parameter Settings For a 3-wire Pt100,

: Standard operations involve holding the SET key for 3–5 seconds to enter parameter menus or modify setpoints.

Most Fourtech controllers use a three or four-button interface for programming. www.chemtronicsindia.com

You must tell the controller what kind of sensor is plugged in. Choosing the wrong input type will result in an "Err" message or wildly inaccurate readings. Auto-Tuning (AT):

Thermocouples (K, J, E, T, R, S) and RTDs (Pt100, Cu50). Arrow Keys (Up/Down): Press to increase or decrease values

Connect live (L) and neutral (N) lines to the designated power terminals (typically rated for 100–240V AC).

Note: If your model number starts with "FT," you have a legacy unit. The FT series uses an older programming logic where SET+UP held for 5 seconds enters the parameter matrix, unlike newer models where you press SET alone.

For Thermocouples (Type K, J, T): Connect to terminals 4 (+) and 5 (-).
