Ram Charan prepared extensively for his role as "Betting Raj." To master his character's look and high-energy dance moves, he traveled internationally for a complete makeover and underwent 45 days of intense physical training at a gym. The casting of Ajmal Ameer and R. Parthiban also marked their debut in Telugu cinema.
